Calamarata is a special format of pasta, associated with Southern Italy cuisine. It is so-called because of its shape, which resembles squids. It is perfect to retain the flavor and aroma of any type of sauce, especially like it with calamari rings- besides making a beautiful colorful dish the taste is exceptional.
