Soppresata- All Natural, Nitrate Free
Sopressata is a much coarser grind than our other salami. Different from our Calabrese style SOUPY, here we add whole peppercorns, and a hint of garlic mixed with lean natural pork. We also shorten the drying time to about 8 weeks so it is a little softer and creamy texture-melts in your mouth.
We do not use nitrates or nitrites with exception to the natural occurring in salt and spices.
This classic is something that will remind you of Italy & you will want to keep it on-hand for all your family gatherings. Our Sopressata is great ANY time of day! Just a hint of heat

Mild Sopressata
I purchased this for my son’s family and everyone enjoyed it, especially my 5-year old granddaughter. I have purchased several lunch meats from Fortuna’s, coops, prosciutto, Felino Pistachio Salami, & Finochiona Salami, to name a few. They’re all excellent for sandwiches, your charcuterie boards, with crackers, or just about n their own. I also order their lunch meats to mail to my sons. All of their lunch meats are very tasty and high quality.

Worth the money. Tastes so good. Easy to chew and not so fatty. I like to slice mine paper thin. Almost melts in your mouth.

Ordered the Soppresata Sweet as a gift for a friend of mine but my friend was shipped the HOT instead of the sweet. His stomach can't tolerate hot so wound up throwing it away. Bad service as they can't even ship the correct products. Robert, we offered a replacement and return label but you were not happy with that response. I'm sorry, we do our our best

This is a very good meat. It is a bit milder than what you might expect from 'hot'. It is also only 12 oz. In previous years, I was able to buy a whole soppresata of 6-8 pounds that would last me for months. I preferred to do that. Still, a quality product.
