Pecorino Moliterno Cheese with Black Truffle is semi-hard and is made from sheep's milk. This delicacy comes from the Italian island of Sardinia. It developed its own character from the rich black truffle flakes. Pecorino al Tartufo is an Italian, raw sheep's milk cheese encrusted with small specks of white and black truffles
Pairs nicely with cured meats as an appetizer or even an after dinner cheese coarse. Place Moliterno al tartufo on a plate with cured meats and you will have an amazing appetizer.
Grate Moliterno al tartufo on your favorite pasta or risotto and pair with a glass of Amarone wine.

Have had much better.

"To Die for cheese"
We ordered this cheese along w. many other "goodies"--sausages, truffle/porcini pasta (MUST try), guanciale (SO hard to find), and several other items. ALL were delicious...but THIS cheese... Seriously, dare you to find a more delicious cheese locally--wherever you live.

Delicious
The cheese was delicious! I had this same type of cheese in a restaurant and I set out to find it. I found Fortuna’s and I’m so glad I did because it tastes just as good as it does in the restaurant
