Tortiglione alla Vodka
Today we made tortiglioni alla vodka with chicken parm, sooooo good and so easy when you use Fortuna's Vodka sauce , made with real cream!! The vodka sauce gives this pasta a silky taste that happily slides into your tummy - it's yummy!!
What is Tortiglioni ?
Tortiglioni is pronounced tohr-tee-LYOH-nee. In Italian, the double "l" and "i" combination gives the 'gli' sound a soft, making the 'lyo' pronunciation
Chicken Parmigiano - we used boneless chicken thighs (or you can use chicken breast)
- dipped in egg
- then dipped into Italian bread crumbs
- fried on both sides until golden in olive oil
- remove from pan -top with a spoon of Fortuna's Vodka sauce and cover with a few slices of Scamorza Cheese
- bake at 375 until cheese is melted
