What is Soupy™?
An all natural, nitrate free, dry cured flavorful sausage is Fortuna’s Soupy, aka Supri. Fortuna’s Soupy is an Old World tradition that was brought here from Italy hundred years ago and was passed down from generation to generation. Like many other fine arts, it is a dying tradition. At Fortuna’s we have taken our old family recipe and resurrected the fine art of making dry cured sausages and salami. Soupy is offered in a variety of hotness from ‘Sweet’ with just black pepper to ‘Nuclear Hot’ not for the faint of heart! Each stick is hand made from the precise trimming of the pork to stuffing into casings, tying by hand with cotton twine, finally then hung to air dry for weeks.

Always the Best!
Being from a small town in Rhode Island and with a calabrese heritage I have a discriminating pallet when it comes to soppressata. Fortuna's "Soupy" is and has always been the best of the best. Not sure what Patti's done to tweak the process but it only seems to get better and better.
